2What Atla is — and what it is not

Atla is a matching and routing service. We help identify what professional expert you need and connect you with independent specialists.

3Eligibility

You must be 18 or over. By signing up, you confirm you are acting in a business capacity.

4Financial data

Connecting your bank authorises read-only access via TrueLayer. You can revoke at any time in your account settings. Atla cannot initiate payments or move funds.

5Expert matching

Atla makes reasonable efforts to match relevant, vetted experts but does not guarantee availability, quality or outcome. The contract for professional services is between you and the expert directly.

6Payments and refunds

All payments via Stripe in GBP. Subscriptions billed monthly or annually — cancel anytime. No refunds for partial periods.

One-time services refunded only if Atla cannot provide the service. No refunds once an Expert Map has been delivered or an introduction has been made.

7Right to cancel (consumer rights)

Atla is provided to businesses, and by signing up you confirm you are acting in a business capacity (clause 3). Statutory consumer cancellation rights therefore do not generally apply.

Where you nevertheless qualify as a consumer under UK or EU law, you have the right to cancel within 14 days of subscribing, without giving a reason. Because Atla provides immediate digital access, by subscribing you expressly consent to the service beginning at once and acknowledge that your right to cancel is lost once the service has been fully supplied. Where the service has only been partly supplied during the cancellation period, any refund will be reduced proportionately.

8Expert obligations

Experts confirm that all information provided is accurate, they hold relevant qualifications and professional insurance, will maintain client confidentiality, and will not contact clients outside the platform to circumvent Atla.

9Prohibited use

• Submitting false or misleading information
• Circumventing the platform to avoid fees
• Any unlawful use of the service
• Unauthorised access attempts to any part of the platform

10Limitation of liability

Atla’s liability is limited to the amount paid in the preceding three months. Atla is not liable for indirect damages or losses arising from reliance on expert advice.

11Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Questions: hello@askatla.com

12Changes to these terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. For material changes we’ll notify you by email and/or an in-app notice before they take effect, and we’ll update the version and effective date shown at the top of this page. Your continued use of Atla after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
